Hello readers! I realize it’s been a while since my last post, but as you can imagine, it’s been an ‘interesting’ 2020. I guess the one advantage of being locked down during this pandemic is it has forced me to refocus on my writing– something that I fear I have been neglecting.
To that end, I have been working pretty hard on War of Shadows. I think fans of Soul Census will definitely enjoy this sequel. Expect to see our characters battle through some pretty epic challenges. You will find the setting to be more ‘grounded’ on Earth, as it will be more focused on events on Earth than the previous installment. With World War 2 on the horizon, I’m sure you can imagine quite a bit is brewing. This will be an epic read. Even more so than Soul Census. I promise.
In other news, I recently read, sadly, that the real Maggio’s Tavern (aka O’Donoghue’s Tavern in present day) has closed down for good, mainly due to the pandemic lockdowns. This really saddens me. It was a historic place and I never got to visit it in real life. I hope someone ends up buying it and reopens it (it does have quite a history of changing owners.)
Finally, I have recently put a promotion out for both Soul Census and Majesty’s Offspring, where they are free for the next few days on Amazon. Pick up a digital copy while you can!
On that note, I should also mention that I do intend to go back to the world of Majesty to write its promised sequel. I have read the pleas from its fans and I have listened. We will be returning to Julius, Laina and Melody and the rest of the crew and continue those adventures. As soon as I’m done with War of Shadows, a new Age of Majesty will be next…
